Description
Flower shape of the Japanese type. Deep dark pink, almost red, outer petals surround a fantastic heart of narrow petals which have a cream-yellow color with also the red tint of the outer petals. An indescribably beautiful color combination. Many side buds which guarantees long flowering. Graceful dark green crop with sturdy stems. This compact grower also smells wonderfully strong and sweet. A very popular and limited cultivar, rightly awarded the APS Gold Medal in 1991. The flowering period is usually from late May to early June for approx. 2 months.
