The Grand Bleu has green, fragrant leaves with a silvery color on the underside. During the flowering period, dark purple flower panicles appear in spherical clusters with long stamens. The flowers smell sweet. This shrub grows fairly wide and can be used as a ground cover. In principle tolerates all types of soil (including fairly dry spots), but no wet soil in the winter.
